Eneration began as part of Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin, playing a pivotal role in helping Gundersen become the first healthcare system in the nation to achieve energy independence. Gundersen spun off Eneration to help other health systems find immediate energy savings in current buildings, construct radically efficient new facilities and develop long-term strategic energy plans to achieve and manage energy independence—all while advancing patient safety and care.
