Eneration began as part of Gundersen Health System, playing a pivotal role in helping Gundersen become the first healthcare system in the nation to achieve energy independence in 2014. Eneration spun off as a separate organization in 2024 to help other health systems and hospitals reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and advance sustainability with decades of proven expertise and success.
